What is a credit?
A credit is roughly 10 seconds of machine time. Every action shows its cost before you run it, so you always know what you're spending.
How many videos is that?
A typical ~60-second video (script, B-roll from stock footage, standard voiceover, render and thumbnail) is about 9 credits. AI images, AI clips and AI presenters cost extra and are priced per image or per 5 seconds — see the table below. The "≈ videos per month" on each plan uses the typical video.
Is lead and sales attribution included?
Yes, on every plan. Every post gets its own tracked link, and leads from your bio page form, website form, booking tool or Stripe are credited to the post that sent them. Growth adds ROI reports you can share by link; Agency adds white-label reports emailed on a schedule.
What if a job fails?
You never pay for a failed video — failed jobs are refunded automatically, in full, the moment they fail (timeouts and engine outages included). You only pay for work that finishes, and never more than the price you saw.
Do unused credits carry over?
Unused plan credits roll over for one month. Top-up credits last 12 months from purchase.
What happens when I upgrade?
It takes effect right away. You're charged the price difference for the rest of your billing period and get the same share of the bigger plan's extra credits straight away — upgrade halfway through a month and you get half the difference. After that, every month brings the new plan's full credits.
What happens to my credits if I downgrade?
You keep them. Credits you already have stay until they'd normally expire, and at renewal this month's unused plan credits still roll over up to the monthly allowance of the plan you started the month on. From then on you get the smaller plan's monthly credits.
Is there a fee on ad spend?
No — 0% fee on ad spend. Credits only pay for making the creative. Launching Meta ads from XCap: Coming soon — waiting for Meta's approval. Until then, download your ads and upload them in Meta Ads Manager.
What's the difference between standard and premium engines?
Standard engines run on our own machines and cost fewer credits. Premium engines use paid third-party AI models for some actions — they cost more credits, and you choose when to use them.
Do I need my own AI keys?
No. Everything runs on our engines. You never need to sign up for or pay other AI services.
Do I need Buffer to publish?
No. Connect your TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook Page, LinkedIn or Pinterest account once and XCap posts the videos you approve directly. Buffer is optional (it's how XCap posts to X). While a platform is still reviewing XCap's app, posts there may go out as private (or wait) until it's approved. You can always download a finished video and post it yourself.
How does voice cloning work?
Record about a minute in the app (or upload a clean sample) and confirm the speaker's consent. We store the consent record with the voice. Delete the voice any time and its sample is deleted too.
How do I cancel?
Cancel anytime from the billing page — no calls or forms. Your content stays available to view and export after you cancel.
